We find this a particularly interesting piece of information because the lack of warming in the Antarctic is one of the main arguments for the people that say the Global Warming issue is a farce. These are not the people that agree Global warming is real and just not caused by humans, but that it is not a real concern at all.

This massive melting and refreezing is of great concern because not only are large chunks of ice falling in to the ocean possibly contributing to the projected ocean level raising, now a very large ice sheet could slide in to the ocean.

This is of course very hard to say with any guarantee. But the pictures don't lie, large amounts of ice and glaciers are melting and where does the water go but the ocean.

We find it interesting that around 20,000 years ago during a small ice age, so much water was frozen that the ocean level was so low that humans made it to North America from Eurasia to Alaska.

Our point is that if the water level can go that low, how people can not believe that it can go much higher than it is now.
